MORTGAGE BROKER 101

How does a mortgage broker work? How much does it cost?  What are the benefits of working with a broker when you are looking to buy a new home? These are all great questions, so let's find out how a mortgage broker really works.

What are the benefits of using a mortgage broker?

As mortgage specialists, mortgage brokers understand the mortgage industry and the real estate markets and we can provide valuable advice and guidance from start to finish.  No matter if this is your very first home purchase or your have bought and sold numerous homes, I will guide you through each step of the process.  Mortgage brokers also have access to many different banks and we do the leg work for you to be sure you get the best mortgage and rate for your purchase, refinance or renewal.

Do I need to pay a mortgage broker?

My services are totally FREE!!  With closing costs, moving costs and the other additional expenses that come with buying a new home, this is one thing you will not have to worry about!  Once we complete your mortgage, the bank that provided you with the approved mortgage will then pay me directly.

Are you able to meet after hours?

I realize that with today’s busy schedules, it may be difficult to find time to meet between 9am and 5pm. To make it easier, I can work with your schedule, offering appointments at a time that is convenient for you.  I can meet with you at my office or at your home ~ whatever works best for you.

Do you offer any other services?

I have a wonderful network of professional associates who can help you along the way.  Lawyers, Realtors, Life Insurance Agents, Financial Planners, Real Estate Appraisers and Home Inspectors are some of the professionals I can recommend to assist you with the mortgage process.
